Two major trends are expected from Apple in the first half of 2015; Apple Watch and the 12-inch MacBook Air. There is no date set for the launch, so we turn to the forecasts of analysts Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.
However, the supply of Apple Watch will really begin in March. Consequently, the sale did not take long and will probably begin in the same quarter, a similar term run calls for 12-inch MacBook Air. And if the sale of a new laptop will not start in the next two months, the supply already assembled computers definitely be.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will reveal more details about smart hours before the official launch. In particular, it will be known battery life and the start date of pre-orders. Analysts believe that most of the components are already prepared and stably supplied for assembly, and therefore only a small proportion of parts can cause a deficiency of the product for the first time after the start. However, Kuo expects 2.8 million units of the device this quarter.
In addition, an analyst at KGI Securities is sure that iPhone sales for the last quarter exceeded expectations, at the level of 61 million of smartphone units sold. Kuo also does not rule out that the supply of iPad in the last three months reached 10 million tablets. One way or another, but the results would call Apple tomorrow evening. [via MacRumors]
