We are more than a couple months away from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich released on our smartphone and tablet but before it is available to all, there are rumors running around about another new Android firmware released. According to Digitimes , the firm already Mountain View would provide the arrival of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean in May or June! Indeed, Google wants to come to counter Windows 8 , which is certainly not expected before the end of 2012.
Android 5.0 will be further optimized for tablet PCs, while Google will also integrate its Chrome system functions to push dual-operating system designs. Brand vendors can either choose to adopt only Android 5.0 or add Android 5.0 to Windows 8 devices with the ability to switch between the two OSes without the need to shut down the computer.
Through Android 5.0, Google also wishes to earn another chance to enter the notebook and netbook markets.
If the purpose of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is to impose on smartphone and tablet, one of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean would aim more for the netbook integration system Chrome OS in Dual Boot .
The new version of the Microsoft OS will indeed be proposed on the touch pads, a prospect that could worry when Google Android 4.0 has just aim to impose on such devices, smartphones and more. In fact, the Mountain View company plancherait on an integration of certain functions of Chrome in Android 5.0 OS, to push the possibility of integrating the two tablets and other netbook operating systems – Android 5.0 and Windows 8 – as they marketing by the manufacturers. Users could switch and, optionally, one on either OS.
Google does accelerate the development of Android yet to conquer new markets? If the rumor of integrating components of Chrome OS – now only available on Chromebooks Google – is plausible, one can, for cons, question the timing and evoked an imagined release of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean later this year, Windows 8 is not expected before late 2012.
This would enable manufacturers to offer one of the two operating systems, Android 5.0 and Windows 8 , and consumers have to choose.
