In the next version of the Android operating system, Google is planning to implement a new interface that will fit the concept of Quantum Paper. However, as reported, the Internet giant has set a goal to standardize the design of all the software on Android, just as it did with the Apple iOS.
Quantum Paper is more than just a regular Google application. New design language will be available for third-party developers, and the creator of the platform will facilitate the integration of standard elements in their applications. The company intends to unify the appearance of mobile Android-programs.
According AndroidPolice, the new Android interface will be presented simultaneously with the release of Android “L” (the next version of Android, codenamed which begin with the letter L), or at the conference Google I / O 2014 in late June. It is possible that I / O and presentation “L” may coincide.
According to the publication, Quantum Paper is intended to bring together all design applications, and web services. Thus, Google all of its products would lead to a uniform appearance. The design can be seen in the leaked pictures of the new Gmail app for Android and its official web version.
The only question will be whether developers will follow the lead on Quantum Paper or all Android-application, as now, will not have the same elements and principles of operation.
