At the opening of WWDC 2013 yesterday, Apple unveiled a whole new class of applications for iOS. Anki Drive- the world’s first artificial intelligence that runs on Apple mobile device.
Anki was developed by programmers at Carnegie Mellon University in the U.S.. At the presentation of experts showed its first product – Anki Drive – small toy cars that moved entirely autonomously, managing software on the iOS via the Bluetooth. The developers say that the machine – it’s just an example. There may be any other objects, up to the present robots or weapons.
It is noteworthy that the first demonstration of Anki Drive happened problem: cars did not go, but she was quite impressive: toy models using computing resources iPhone to compete in the maneuvers and skirmishes to throw each other off the track. And this is only the beginning in the way of combining mobile devices and robotics.
Radio controlled model Anki Drive, allow you to interact with the iPhone and iPad, will be at the Apple Store this fall.
