According to CNET,  Particle is acquired by Apple, the company specializes in the development of web applications and marketing projects written in HTML5.

The company from San Francisco that started in early 2008 has since received financial support from a number of known stars. So Justin Timberlake is one of the investors, who previously also all the money invested in the video service Robo.to, a website developed by Particle. In the past, the company also teamed up with Google, Motorola, Amazon, Yahoo, Sony and Apple HTML5 various projects.

The deal would by the end of September have been completed, and it is remarkable that not all employees will work for Apple. Apple would primarily interested in creative technologists and user interface engineers. An interesting fact is that managing the founder of Particle, Aubry Anderson, between 2006 and 2008 worked as a consultant for the Cupertino company. The sources who leaked the news did not have further information on the amount involved in the acquisition.

It is unclear at this time, however, where the Apple company specializing in HTML5 to want to use. It is possible that employees will be added to the team working on the advertisements of iAd works, or the  iCloud web apps.

As usual, Apple still no mention of the acquisition, and the question is whether this will happen. It is clear that Apple expressly to invest in acquisitions, so it took earlier this year application engine Chomp all about, and the Israeli company Anobit, which makes flash memory for technological devices. CNET Apple has requested for remark, however up to now continues to be no response.
