Apple announces new business partnership with SAP

For some time, Apple has made enormous efforts to develop partnerships with the business world to bring their devices to the sector. Apple and SAP have announced a major new partnership to improve the experience of working in mobile for businesses of all sizes, combining native apps for iPhone and iPad and the functionality of the SAP HANA platform.

“This partnership will transform how iPhone and iPad are used in enterprise by bringing together the innovation and security of iOS with SAP’s deep expertise in business software,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

Now we know details of a new alliance, this time with SAP (original German multinational company dedicated to the design of computer products business management).

The main goal of Apple is to reach every employee of the companies where SAP operates. Thanks to a new SDK, developers can create the right to use iPhone and iPad like never before in the enterprise market tools. This alliance between Apple and SAP aims to provide the necessary conditions for more than 2.5 million developers to create powerful native applications that take full advantage of SAP HANA Cloud Platform tools.

Thanks to this platform enterprise customers get simple tools to create efficient applications for iPhone and iPad. Using the excellent hardware features that have Apple devices like Touch ID, processors and strengths of iOS, such as security, stability and ease of use.
The programming language used is Swift, to create new applications.
