Apple cuts the price of 13-inch version of the education MacBook Pro, addressed to students of higher educational institutions. Economy version of the laptop without the Retina display is focused on the students and educational institutions.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro is built on the 2.5-gigahertz Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Technology up to 3.1 GHz and is priced at $999. The laptop uses the same 1,600-megahertz bus as the older model, but it has only 4 GB of RAM and a 500-gigabyte drive. As with the usual modifications, the device uses graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000. Retail value of the computer is $1,199.
The basic version starting with a 2.9-gigahertz processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 750-gigabyte drive will cost $1,299, which is also $200 cheaper than standard MacBook Pro. Computers order can only be made by students.
