On Wednesday, September 12 was 1.1 percent of iCloud users suffered from outage. This was shown on iCloud status page. Apple was aware of the problem and sent an apology email to iCloud users. Meanwhile, it seems the problem has been solved: according to Apple, an update to the entire cloud service in order to qork properly again was needed. 9to5Mac reported, however, that different iCloud Mail users suffer from email disturbance. This is why all emails derived from 12/31/69, without accompanying subject line. The content of the emails was unreadable.

It is difficult to determine how many people suffer from the problems described above. The problem affected at least people who were registered by the fault in iCloud last week, but this does not necessarily mean that everyone who encountered this problem was plagued by unreadable emails from 12/31/69.

All Faulty numbers reported on the iCloud fault the past 24 hours significantly decreased. When the malfunction on Wednesday September 12 for the first time took place, the site was measuring a large number of reports at two different times.
