Apple lead designer Jonathan Ive participated to designed of Leica M limited edition camera. The company approached Ive to be part of the special new Leica M limited edition which was announced yesterday. The collaboration between the two will undoubtedly lead to a great camera, only it will be a pricey.
At this time, there is no information available how the new Leica will ve available, and whether it will deviate substantially from the design of the basic model. It is at least certain that the product will be made only once, which means that the device will only be available for people with big pockets. The limited edition will be auctioned later this year, and the proceeds will go to charity.

At Leica’s special event last night, after the new Leica M was announced, company owner Dr. Andreas Kaufmann revealed that they’ve got a very special limited edition version of the camera planned — one that’s designed by legendary Apple designer Sir Jonathan Ive.
This camera will be the mother of all limited editions based on one simple fact: only a single unit of the camera will ever be produced.
The basic Leica M which has a full 35mm, CMOS sensor with 24 megapixels, also it will have the ability to record 1080p HD videos, integrated with a 3-inch Gorilla Glass. It is unlikely that the specifications will change for the model that Jonathan Ive’s design, but that is not the purpose of cooperation and auction for charity.
