Apple has just released the first iOS 11.4 Beta for developers. Just a few days after it released version 11.3 to the public, it now gives us this first trial version that is currently not available to public beta users, so only those who have a developer certificate on their device. they will be able to install it.
Not sure yet what the new features are. AirPlay 2 and Messages in iCloud were the big absences of the public version of iOS 11.3, so it will be the first thing we check in this new beta as soon as we have downloaded it on our device, which we are doing in these precious moments. Apple has also released watchOS 4.3.1 and tvOS 11.4 Beta 1.
It is expected that this new Beta will include some of the features that Apple presented last week at its event dedicated to the education sector. The Schoolwork application and the ClassKit API could begin to appear in this first Beta, although it will still be early to be able to perform tests since the developers must also do their job. What many hope is that AirPlay 2 finally arrives after it disappeared from iOS 11.3 in its final version (and in the last Betas). This function will allow controlling different compatible speakers, such as HomePod. Messages in iCloud is another feature that many users miss and want to see already on their devices, synchronizing messages between devices.
watchOS 4.3.1 accompanies this new version of iOS, and tvOS 11.4. As with the iOS version, we do not currently know what changes are included, but we are already testing them to tell you everything they include first-hand. We will inform you promptly.
