Apple released OS X 10.10 Yosemite Preview 3

Following the release of iOS 8  beta 3,  Apple also dropped OS X Yosemite Preview 3 operating system. This update is aimed to fix bugs and added a couple new features such Dark Mode, a bookmark folder in the Safari address bar, QuickTime new icon and others.

OS X Yosemite continues the direction that was set last year with the launch of OS X Mavericks, offering users even more clear design and even more features inspired by iOS. If the Mavericks appeared familiar iOS-App Maps and iBooks, but this time the Apple promises that both systems are designed for the most comfortable working together.

Sleek design, translucent panels, avoiding gradients and textures in iOS 7 and can be easily seen in OS X 10.10, making desktop platform looks much more modern. Application icons got a new minimalist design and a flatter panel applications and windows – sharper edge.

Yosemite-acmain Safari  is more clear, has a  simple design and an improved search integration. Apple claims that the browser now takes the JavaScript code faster than any other on the market does present – on standard websites difference compared to Firefox may be six times, and with Chrome – five times. Apple and expanded support for Web standards Safari, including WebGL, SPDY and HTML5.

Supports AirDrop work between OS X and iOS, now users can share images and other data between your mobile devices and desktop systems without the use of a cord.

A preliminary version of Yosemite has been available for download since beginning of June. As you know, since April OS X testing program is open to everybody. Therefore, users wanting to install OS X 10.10 beta  on their Mac desktop, do not necessarily need to get an official developer account. The program “OS X Beta Seed Program” makes it possible to everyone to test the Apple operating system.

The public release of OS X Yosemite is scheduked to be released theis Fall and will be available only through the online Mac App Store.
