Apple has just released the fourth beta release of iOS 6. This Beta is just as previous versions only to be installed by developers. The main change is that the YouTube app is no longer present.
Apple has announced that their license to use the YouTube app in iOS participate to deliver is no longer valid and that Google will make a separate YouTube app in the App Store.
“Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.”
The first iOS 6 beta was made available on June 11, after the new version of IOS 6 was officially introduced during the WWDC Keynote. Beta 2 release followed two weeks later, on June 26. The third beta version had to wait almost three weeks and appeared on Monday, July 16. With this fourth beta three weeks have passed.
You can install the update by going to Settings> General> Software Update. Since iOS 6 Beta 2 displays an animated icon while downloading the update. It can be quite a while before the update is available for you.
iOS 6 brings together more than two hundred, according to Apple innovations. This includes Apple's own mapping service with 3D maps, Tab synchronization icloud, Facebook integration and improvements in Mail (VIPs, pull-to-refresh), a DND button, FaceTime via 3G and passbook, an app that lets several steps you can store on your iPhone.
Apple was previously known that iOS 6 will be release this fa
ll for all users available. An exact date is not yet known. According to the latest rumor, the announcement of the new iPhone is set for september 12, then the unit will go on sale on September 21. This makes it likely that Apple final version (Golden Master) September 12 also will be available to developers, after the update between then and September 21 will be released. This will only happened if the rumors are true.
