iPhone users install the new operating system iOS 6 and they are facing various problems from the non-working Wi-Fi connection. The main complaint is the poor quality of maps used in the standard mapping application system.
Even before the release of iOS 6 developers have expressed concern about the quality of map coverage and efficiency of navigation applications, particularly its ability to find institutions or shops via the search function.
BBC received some complaints about the new iOS 6 maps:
- Some cities are absent on the cards.
- Others placed incorrectly. Satellite photos of some objects, covered with clouds.
- The search function does not work correctly places.
Today Apple spokesman Trudy Muller commented on the situation by stating that the map service is a great initiative of the company and in the future will be improved. “We launched this new map service knowing that it is a major initiative and we are just getting started with it. We are continuously improving it, and as Maps is a cloud-based solution, the more people use it, the better it will get,” reports The Wall Street Journal.
