iOs-7.1 It is said that Apple is very closely monitoring the activities of the community -jailbreak . And another news is a case in point . On iOS 7.1 security update , the company said the names of jailbreak “heroes”  with gratitude for vulnerabilities found .

As it turned out the day before, in iOS 7.1 completely blocked the work of utility Evasi0n7, used for untethered iOS 7.0-7.0.6. Obviously, Apple experts are well aware who the creators . Apple even made thanks to the team Evad3rs for identifying vulnerabilities in iOS 7.1.

From the description in the section ” About iOS 7.1 security“:

” Available for iPhone 4 and above , iPod touch 5G and above , iPad 2 and up .

Impact: malicious code backups allows changes to the file system .

Description : A symbolic link in a backup would be restored, allowing subsequent operations during the restore to write to the rest of the filesystem. This issue was addressed by checking for symbolic links during the restore process.

In reality, the fact that Apple thanked hackers, does not matter – this was before. I wonder what is listed in the description “Evad3rs” – is a combination of letters can be found only in thematic blogs devoted to jailbreak . This is a team of hackers , which includes four developer who created the program Evasi0n7 – pod2g, MuscleNerd, Planetbeing and Pimskeks. They played a key role in the release of exploit.

Immediately after the release of iOS 7.1 firmware , Evaders member nickname MuscleNerd, warned in a tweet that updating closed important vulnerability , so the untether to implement the new operating system is not possible. Hacker added that even if there are certificates saved SHSH blobs back to iOS 7.0.6 after upgrading to iOS 7.1, to re- jailbreak the device as possible. In other words, users gadgets that want to use unofficial applications and tweaks from Cydia, should remain at the current firmware iOS 7.0.6.
