Apple announces a partnership with UnionPay China to allow customers to be able to use Apple Pay and make payments via the mobile iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, safely and fast. Thanks to the combination between QuickPass technology and UnionPay, Apple Pay payments will be extremely safe with the goal of becoming a leading mobile payments in China. Each transaction will be authorized with a unique security code and dynamic. The payment system will be triggered in China in the first weeks of 2016, after more tests and all certifications required by the authorities of the country.
