Belkin launches its first Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable, designed specifically for iPhones with Lightning port integrated.
Thanks to this audio cable, users can connect to the iPhone any headphones or audio source with a 3.5mm connector. Belink says the pre-orders will start in a few hours.
The cable has a male Lightning connector on one side and a 3.5mm output on the other, making it possible to connect the last iPhone to the car audio system equipped with AUX port. The cable integrates a digital-to-analog converter.
From Belkin senior director of product development:
Bringing our audio legacy into the digital realm is a natural progression of Belkin’s mission to connect people to the experiences they love most. Most of us are music lovers, and the ability to work on technology that can make other music lovers’ lives more fulfilling, better and more connected, inspires our teams to continue innovating.
This type of cables have been around for several years now, but the version produced by Belkin is certified by Apple. This is the first cable of this type to be MFi certified.
