Many iOS fans will not believe the next note, but despite having at least 3 generations of iPad, it took only a model and nearly 2 ½ years at Research In Motion manage to overcome the iPad.
And if as mentioned in The Register , at least that’s what we’re seeing in Europe, specifically England, where Research In Motion Tablet was the most coveted for the holiday season and it looks like that may be something that possibly from spreading in other countries, especially emerging economy that RIM has not had problems injecting unlike Google and Apple.
One reason may be that BlackBerry remains popular for British and others is another reason to mention that 10 also hit the BlackBerry PlayBook and another reason is that they could mold electronics stores best cost-effective prices, which Apple never allows.
In numbers, the PlayBook managed to be sold at 160,000 units and the latest generation of iPad in 113.000 units during the Christmas period, giving it an advantage of RIM quite substantial.
All iPad models combined sold 203.000 units, but it is important to note that the recommended retail price of the PlayBook is much cheaper than the iPad.
