Saurik released an update to Cydia so reaches version 1.1.16 to fix a number of bugs that many users are facing after performing the iOS 8 jailbreak on the iPhone or iPad, iPod touch.
This new version of Cydia fixes a major flaw affecting all who have restored your device from a backup on iTunes. Because of this, you no longer need to reinstall Cydia if you have restored your iPhone or iPad using this method.
Another interesting improvement that brings this update is that it has increased the waiting time required to update the content of Cydia when in the background. By mistake, Saurik made this value set to 15 seconds but now it has been modified and updated every 15 minutes.
The third new Cydia 1.1.16 is that it has improved the detection of URL from iTunes, which is necessary when performing blocking redirects to the App Store.
Finally, if you have an iPad you can now access your user account without ID screen continuously recharges, making you believe that you had not entered your data correctly.
To install this version you just have to go into Cydia and once there, go to the section Chantes (Change) and download the update. Remember that iOS 8.1.1 closes the doors to untethered jailbreak iOS 8 so if you’re thinking of doing it to your device, it is best to upgrade to iOS 8.1 and use Pangu iOS 8 jailbreak tool.
