Mozilla has released the final version of Firefox 22, which employs a long-announced support for Unreal Engine 3. Now developers have positioned not only as a Firefox web browser, but also as a gaming platform.
To highlight the potential of the new features, Mozilla has created a browser-based 3D-person shooter: the game called BananaBread, which uses technology WebRTC, asm.js, WebGL and Emscripten. With WebRTC, developers can create applications that allow you to make video and voice calls directly from a desktop or mobile browser.
Also in the browser interface changes to optimize the size of fonts on high-resolution displays. Increase or decrease the font size by changing the value layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in the settings.
