A new set of images of the alleged iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus seem to confirm that only the 5.5-inch model will integrate the dual camera and the smart connector. Pictures from Taiwan, specifically the Apple subcontractor housings, Catcher Technology confirm that Apple plans to incorporate the Smart Connector and dual camera on the iPhone 7 Plus, in addition to the port 3.5mm headphone can disappear. Those images are shared by uSwitch, leaked OnLeaks Twitter account run Steve Hemmerstoffer.
The images show the industrial designs of the two iPhone that Apple is expected to launch in the fall. The appearance is very similar to the iPhone 6s, but the larger model incorporates two new features: dual camera and the smart connector. Dual Camera had already spoken in the past, but the smart connector seemed to be common to the two new models. Instead, Apple seems inclined to integrate this connector only on Plus, differentiating even further from the little brother. The smart connector may be used to connect special accessories, such as a keyboard or a cover with advanced features.
According to KGI, just to handle these two innovations, the iPhone 7 Plus will integrate 3GB of RAM, up from 2GB iPhone 7. The dual cameras should be provided by Sony and LG. From the two images comes the confirmation of the absence of a 3.5mm audio jack, while the camera seems to be still hanging (as opposed to what we have seen recently in other photo). In short, one thing is certain: this iPhone 7 reigns still much confusion, a sign that Apple is probably hiding something good.
