Flash on iPhone and iPad with Smokescreen[video]

Chris Smoaks, developer at Revshock, engaged on a brand new plugin referred to as " Smokescreen", which permits playback of Flash on iPhone, iPod Contact and iPad. For now, this plugin works neatly with easy interactive banners (ads), however very sluggish to show video or Flash video games, particularly with the iPhone 3G.&#a hundred and sixty;

Smokescreen, a technology that uses the combo JavaScript /HTML 5 to display Flash within theiPhone OS seems to be progressing slowly, as evidenced by this video revealing a iPad capable of displaying a banner ad in Flash. It's a start. Because of this technology that is able to run in a

The operation is very quick to explain, indeed Smokescreen unfolds in your browser, you can read the binary SWF files and decompress, extract images and sounds included to convert them into base64 encoded data. The unit is then reassembled and delivered to you as animated SVG.

For the moment the project is in its infancy, but it is certain that the small project team Smokescreen will not stop there and, hopefully, will change completely the situation.[via smokescreen]
