Google Android 4.2.2 rolling out to Nexus devices

Google has started the spread of a new Android version to different Nexus devices. The company does not know which bugs are fixed in the new version, but users report at least improvements in streaming over Bluetooth.

The rollout of Android 4.2.2 was first noticed by a Reddit user, then More Posts published by Nexus users who received the update within. Google seems the new version, labeled JDQ39, currently rolling out to the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, 10 and the Nexus Galaxy Nexus. According to Google, the update brings improvements in terms of “performance and stability”. More details are not given.

According to users, Android 4.2.2 is a bug when streaming audio over bluetooth solved. Google introduced this bug in version 4.2 on the Nexus 7, wherein audio streams bluetooth often faltered. The company gave last month that the bug was and would be part of the next release.
