Google presents Nexus 10 tablet with 2560×1600 pixels

Google has announced the Nexus 10. This 10.1 “Android tablet has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and is powered by a dual-core Cortex A15 chip. The tablet is available in the U.S. from November 13 for $399.

The Nexus 10 is made by Samsung and the dual-core Cortex A15 chip is therefore probably the Eynos 5250 of the Korean company. Here are the two A15 processor cores coupled with the new Mali-T604 GPU. In total, 2GB RAM available and the tablet comes in versions with 16GB or 32GB storage. According to Samsung, the 9000 mAh battery powerful enough to the tablet nine hours to provide power when viewing video.

The screen is the Super PLS-type, which Samsung also used its own tablets. This is more than Apple’s iPad with Retina display, which is currently the highest pixel density in tablet country. Screen is covered with scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 2 from Corning company.

The 10.1-inch tablet measuring 263.9 x177, 6×8, 9 mm and weighs 603 grams, the housing is made of plastic. The device features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixels front. Furthermore, micro-USB and micro-HDMI connectors available and wireless area is support for Bluetooth, dual band WiFi b / g / n and NFC.

The Nexus 10 runs on Android 4.2 which supports multiple users is built. Each user has a unique profile on the tablet with its own apps and settings. The tablet is available from November 13 in the U.S. and some European countries. Google UK has announced that the Netherlands is not among them. The 16GB edition will cost $ 399 while the 32GB version for $499 must be paid.
