Google released the source code of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Google has launched the supply code for Android four.1.1 , Additionally recognize as Jelly Bean . This has been submitted as part of project called Android Open Source with the idea of allowing developers to work on their own firmware that can be installed on devices without restrictions.

The fact is that they have released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source code to developers to allow them  to start working on ROMs for good. The result will be a greater, more stable and fast for a large number of devices. This release corresponds to the philosophy of "open source" or Open Source that keeps Google in relation to the different operating system versions.

CynamogenMod is one of the unofficial open source Android firmware and offers the best-known features, functions not found in the official versions that is provided to Android-based manufacturers. Let's say that, it gives developers a complete
freedom over their work, unencumbered by the manufacturers.

Specifically, the Android Open Source project manager , Jean-Baptiste M. Queru , reported through Google Groups that a series of data name of the released version is the android-4.1.1_r1 and the development branch is jb-dev. Recommends the creation of new customers, even if you are working on the main branch, and also announces immediate availability of the driver binaries for Android 4.1.1 Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus will soon be available to developers al
ong with the Nexus S and Motorola Xoom (USA version with Wi-Fi). Indeed, it is expected that the 4.1.1 update for the four devices mentioned above will be available to be downloaded via OTA.

The availability of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source code will result in the immediate appearance of the first ROM based on this operating system version. It is also good news for CynamogenMod fans as it will allow to speed up the process for version CM10 based precisely on Jelly Bean.
