How jailbreak IOS device with a broken home button

Do you have an IOS device with a broken home or power button and want to jailbreak it but still? For this we must know, mostly in the DFU mode, which is a prerequisite for the jailbreak. Now with redsn0w 0.9.14b2 solution! From now on, any part defective IOS device can be downgraded with DFU mode set.

With redsn0w 0.9.14b2 you created a special firmware file that needs to be restored in iTunes. After restoring the IOS device is then automatically in DFU mode.

In this tutorial I explain the creation and restoration of a firmware with DFU redsn0w 0.9.14b2.

Step 1:  Download redsn0w 0.9.14b2 for Windows or for Mac OS X.

Step 2: Open the recently downloaded redsn0w and navigate to  Tools  >  even more .

Step 3:  Click on the button  DFU IPSW . The following is a Note:

Step 4: Once you see the message with  OK have confirmed, a window opens. Here you select the newest, currently signed firmware (IPSW) from your IOS device. If this is an iPhone 3GS iOS 5.1.1 currently, because there is no newer firmware (not beta firmwares are).

Step 5: Now redsn0w begins with the creation of special firmware that will enable your IOS device after restoring with iTunes in DFU mode.

The created firmware is stored in the same location as the original firmware and carries the prefix  ENTER_DFU .If the original firmware that is at an iPhone 3G  iPhone2, 1_5.1.1_9B206_Restore.ipsw means has created the name redsn0w firmware  ENTER_DFU_iPhone, 1_5.1.1_9B206_Restore.ipsw .

Step 6: Connect your IOS device to your PC or Mac and open iTunes. Click while holding down the  SHIFT key (Windows) or hold down the  ALT  - key (Mac)  Restore  and select the correct firmware from essential (ENTER_DFU_ above!).

After the restoration is complete, the screen of your IOS device will be black. This is an indicator of the DFU mode.

You have entered the DFU mode successfully firmware via recovery. You can now jailbreak your IOS device as if it requires a DFU mode.
