How to jailbreak iOS 6 for iPhone and iPod touch (A4) with Redsn0w 0.9.15b1

iPhone Dev Team has released an update to Redsn0w, which acquired the native support for the final version of the iOS 6 Apple operating system. Redsn0w 0.9.15b1 not only jailbreaks iOS 6 devices on the chip A4, unfortunately, there no  jailbreak iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad 3, but also makes the automatic installation of informal applications store Cydia. In addition, the tool allows you to downgrade from iOS 6 for iOS 5.

Supported devices:

This assembly is designed to jailbreak iOS 6 only on devices with processors A4, including iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. The other models in the A5 (iPhone 4S, iPad 2), A5X (iPad 3) and A6 (iPhone 5) is not compatible with any of the public-jailbreak exploits. This version also adds the ability to save haktivatsii and modem firmware (baseband) for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.

How to jailbreak iOS 6 with Redsn0w 0.9.15b1:

Step 1: Download Redsn0w 0.9.15b1 from here (Windows | Mac) and iOS 6 from here.

Step 2: Update your iPhone or iPod touch on firmware iOS 6 via iTunes. Detailed instructions can be found here. Official IPSW-file available for download at the official links on this page.

Step 3: Start Redsn0w 0.9.15b1 in Administrator mode, if you’re on Windows or make a click, hold down Ctrl, and select “Open” from the new menu, if you are a user OS X Mountain Lion.

Step 4: Click on the Jailbreak button, select Cydia and put your device into DFU mode the instructions on the screen. Now start Redsn0w 0.9.15b1 jailbreak using vulnerability limera1n. When finished, click “Autoboot this device when it connects in DFU mode” to switch to tethered jailbreak. After the automatic reboot, you will have to jailbreak the iPhone or iPod touch again.
