Huawei made its mark at CES 2016 with Huawei Mate 8, a phablet will seek to continue to attract users to the brand, which managed to position itself as the third largest segment, behind Apple and Samsung.
The phone carries within it the Kirin 950 chipset with a CPU that can increase power to 100% GPU performance up to 125% and energy efficiency up to 70% from 925 Kirin.
Equipped with a 4000mAh battery, Mate 8 offers more than two days of normal use, the Mate 7 already has an outstanding battery life.
As teams like the Moto X Play, the Huawei Mate 7 offers a quick charge: the company said the relationship is plugged in for 30 minutes a day of use.
Huawei continues to focus on its EMUI 4.0 system based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, containing various settings, including a built-in automatic defragmentation service that continues to optimize system performance. In addition, the Mate 8 has a split-screen mode that allows for improved multitasking between applications.
The Huawei Mate 8 introduces a new generation of fingerprint security. The sensor is now circulating to provide better identification and has three levels of security.
The company said it invested $98 million over three years to develop the first processor and image sensor “for a faster approach, higher clarity and accurate color shading.”
Huawei Mate 8 adopts a new system 16MP Sony IMX298, which increases the size of the sensor by 23 percent. It also has a front camera of 8 MP for selfies.
The team supports global connectivity and more bands than any other dual SIM phone, including 4-band 2G, 9-band 3G and 4G 18 bands of 217 countries and regions with 1,334 operator settings. “This makes it perfect for those going business device,” the company noted.
