Lots of users reports issues with their BlackBerry Internet Service and RIM officially acknowledged the problem saying that this is their fault not the carriers’ fault. BIS users from all over North and South America are now experiencing problems in receiving emails on their handsets, however, phone, data and other services work fine. According to Rogers spokesman, the BES accounts are fine, but they are aware of the BlackBerry outage. At the moment RIM is working hard to restore the BIS functionality to its users even if it could take a while. We don’t know if there is a connection between Sprint and BlackBerry outages, but this is very unlikely as users from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile reported issues with their BIS.
