The Chronic Dev Team has updated its software Absinthe offering an untethered jailbreak the iPhone and the iPad 4S 2 iOS 5.0.1. This new version 0.4 supports Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) with Intel and PowerPC. More users will be able to unsealed their devices to enjoy the jailbreak. Hackers have also added a new module that checks on every boot that all the required files are present. This new measure aims to prevent some bugs in use.
What's new in Absinthe 0.4:

Added consistency check on startup to make sure required files are in place

Windows: fixed bug in payload generator that might cause a crash
Finally, version 0.4 will be deprived of a nasty bug about the payload was injected. Absinthe could indeed begin to crash on Windows.
