Apple has decided to react and carries its own complaint against a manufacturer of smartphone, and not only that: it is nothing less qu'HTC that firm to accuse Apple of infringing 20 patents on the iPhone!
These patents include the interface of mobile architecture or its components, even if Apple has not detailed. The complaint was filed with the ITC.
"We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We've decided to do something about it," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours."
Sprint has confirmed that a terminal in Android was well prepared and would be connected to its network 4g before summer 2010.
It is very likely that both of HTC Supersonic, the only Android device known as WiMax compatible.
There's little doubt about what this could mean. Although the Supersonic was not specifically mentioned, it is the only 4G Sprint phone we know for sure is on the horizon. The Supersonic packs a 4.3” screen, 1 GHz processor, and will also sport a kickstand on the back. An AMOLED screen is also a possibility.
New video posted after the break! Yay! Also, commenters have astutely noted that there appears to be some sort of nav pad at the bottom of the phone, something the Supersonic lacks --so perhaps this is the Incredible after all, or a third Android superphone out of HTC. Clearly, we're not complaining if that's the case.[via Engadget]

According to the site, the build was working nice and smooth and it was shown running on HD2 to the audience in Barcelona present at MWC.
Keep in mind though that such images can easily be Photoshopped to look like the real deal when it is not. HTC HD2 by all means meets all the specs which Microsoft has made mandatory for a Windows Phone 7 Series device including a 1Ghz processor, over 512MB of RAM, a large multitouch capacitive touchscreen and so on. The only hardware requirement which HD2 is missing is the dedicated Bing search button for the device. Currently though, neither Microsoft nor HTC has denied the possibility of Windows Phone OS 7.0 upgrade for HTC HD2. This is what the official Windows Phone account on twitter said about this possible upgrade.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the next generation of Windows phones called the Windows Phone 7 Series in his keynote address at the Mobile World Congress 2010.

Dual LED flashes adorn the brownish backplate, and an optical mouse pointer resides down near the bottom. Thoughts?
