Apple recently unveiled its 12-inch MacBook and new MacBook Pro all equipped with Touch Force sensors in the trackpad. This new feature allows for new interactions on the screen depending on the pressure on the trackpad. If you press it more or less strong, then you will have different results.
In this perspective Ten One Design has to update its Inklet plugin to turn your trackpad into a real mini tablet. The plugin is now able to have a sensitive pressure control when you draw.
“This means that owners of the new MacBook with the trackpad will enjoy a pressure sensitivity, very precise in the development of a drawing with a stylus or finger,” said Peter Skinner, founder Ten One Design .
The application also supports key shortcuts to streamline the design process. “Although Inklet has always been able to determine the pressure of the stylus, this update allows to measure the pressure more simply and more reliable,” explain the developers.
Inklet is available foe $24.95 at Ten One Design website but you can also test the plugin by downloading the demo.
