The official iPhone 5S announcement remains only a couple of weeks, yet rumors about the device continue to appear on the internet. Today new photos of the housing which show the display and components of the next Apple smartphone were published by Appadvice.
It became known that the iPhone 5S will run 30% faster than the iPhone 5 with a new processor. And the increase in performance will not happen at the expense of increasing the number of cores. A7 processor in the iPhone 5S will be dual-core, like the A6 chip. However, it will support 64-bit instructions.
Externally iPhone 5S will be virtually no different from the iPhone 5, but will get more advanced electronic stuffing. Earlier it was reported that a 4-inch display new items will now be made Sharp (and possibly, LG) on the new technology IGZO. Such displays are economical battery consumption. The amount of RAM in the smartphone is likely to increase from 1GB to 2GB.
iPhone 5S will improve some network interfaces – for example, the network will support LTE-Advanced, and can be expected to support standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac, as in the new MacBook Air and networking hardware Apple. Others – NFC, allegedly cleaned out the iPhone 5 at the last moment – will be the first time.
We also know that the iPhone 5S will receive a fingerprint sensor. The sensor will be made by the technology Apple acquired last year for $356 million of AuthenTec. Put it on the button “home”, which will cover the sapphire, as the camera lens in the iPhone 5. Earlier confirmation of the existence of such a sensor found in the code of the beta version of iOS 7.
Finally, a growing number of reports indicate that the iPhone 5S will be a “premium” version with a maximum amount of internal memory – 128 GB, and an unique gold coloration steel case.
