According to The Wall Street Journal, the number of pre-orders for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in South Korea reached a hundred thousand, which significantly exceeded the number of pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 made in the last month.
Two new items from Apple became available for pre-order at major Korean telecommunications companies SK Telecom, KT Corp and LG UPlus on Friday. In KT Corp reported that the telecom operator has received about 10,000 applications for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for just one minute and a half hour this number has increased five times.
LG Corporation owned operator LG UPlus, which began selling the iPhone for the first time, for the first 20 minutes was about 20 thousand applications. In SK Telecom did not specify the exact number of pre-orders received, however, reported that the first and second batch of devices have already been ordered, and this morning began accepting applications for the third.
Note that in the last month before the start of sales of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea has been issued 30,000 pre-orders.
