The iPhone 6s, 6s Plus will be launched in South Korea on October 23, a strategic launch for Apple, but also for the two regional stage, Samsung and LG. The first news is not very good for the main competitors of Apple, since the stocks intended for pre-orders in the operators have melted like snow in the sun.

Yonhap reported that LG Uplus, one of three major operators in the country of the morning calm, closed the doors of iPhone 6s pre-orders after five minutes. For its part, KT had reached 10,000 orders in one minute, then 50,000 in ten minutes … before closing preorders. At SK Telecom, the grace period lasted a little longer (30 minutes), with 50,000 estimated pre-orders.

All this does not bode well for Samsung, which is struggling to maintain its position in its home market. The manufacturer has also reduced the price of Galaxy S6 and launched a “pink gold” version of its Galaxy Note 5 to cut the grass under the feet of Apple.

It remains unknow on how many iPhone 6s / 6s Plus have been sold out but one thing is certain, the new iPhone are very popular in the country. The news has been well received by the California firm unlike Samsung which has difficulty selling its Galaxy Note 5, even though it has announced the upcoming release of a pink version for the iPhone against 6s Plus in pink.
