According to MacRumors, iPhone 6s will be integrated with an 8 megapixel camera sensor like its predecessors. That is why the supplier of photographic modules, Largan Precision, lowered expectations as to increase profits this year. This is what says a Taiwanese analyst Jeff Pu, as part of a study on Largan, an optical module provider for iPhone.

Could indicate that the new iPhone 6s, if indeed it is called like that – tend to wait on the side of functions, such as optical stabilization and faster autofocus, that on an increase in pixels. We take this information very carefully, Jeff Pu reputation is still to be done and the time before marketing is important.

With 8 megapixels, the iPhone 6 is an exception in the market for high-end smartphones, which exceeded most 10 MP filming a long time and even 4K for some.

This does not make the iPhone 6 a bad camera, just opposite, but a few more megapixels increase the cropping flexibility in the absence of optical zoom and would better enjoy photos on a Retina iMac 5K
