According to new information posted on Weibo, the iPhone 7 could incorporate a slightly larger battery than the one mounted on current models. However, the increase in capacity falls apparently from not very big.The report goes into more detail and indicates that the iPhone 7 will have a 1,735 mAh battery, while the iPhone 7 Plus has a 2,810 mAh battery. It is a slight increase compared to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which respectively have a 1,715 mAh battery and 2750 mAh. Weibo is confirmed that the iPhone 7 will have a design similar to that of the 6s, while radical changes there will be only in 2017, when Apple directly present its iPhone 8.

If the rumor from China is legit, then the increase in capacity of the new battery would be slightly more than one percent in the iPhone. 7 Referring this increase to the maximum duration of audio playback, which puts Apple for the iPhone 6s with 50 hours, then the new iPhone could just play music 35 minutes longer.

As for the battery, Apple counts to improve the autonomy due to hardware and software optimizations that will integrate the next iPhone. There will likely be a slight improvement over current performance.
