World Wide Jailbreak Convention started in San Francisco

Just in the South San Francisco Conference Center of the World Wide Jailbreak Conference “jailbreacon” (WWJC) started. The conference brings together prominent members of the jailbreak scene together and they will also provide workshops or the visitors address. The conference via a live stream by interested parties to follow.

The World Wide Jailbreak Convention is also known as JailbreakCon and is a sequel to the MyGreatFest event that took place in September 2011. It is unlikely that the conference will be used to a jailbreak for iOS 6 launch, as was the case earlier this year at Hack In The Box for iOS 5.1.1. According to pod2g of the Chronic Dev Team will (untethered) jailbreak of iOS ie 6 weeks and still certainly possible even months in coming. JailbreakCon is an ideal opportunity for the various iOS hackers together to share their knowledge to share .

After careful consideration and exploring all of the options we have decided that WWJC should be where it belongs, in the home of technology. The South San Francisco Conference Center will become the home of the first ever JailbreakCon event on American soil and we are delighted to be bringing this exciting event to San Francisco.
