Formerly known as XBMC, a couple weeks ago, Kodi 16 jarvis, a stable version of the media center was released for all platforms. Today, a new version of the media center Kodi version 17 was released for the fourth generation Apple TV. This new version includes two new skins that are called for general release Estuary and Estouchy version for touch devices like iOS. Both skins or themes are very similar, but obviously the most visible Estouchy has buttons for easy keystrokes. But beware, you notice that no man put that issue in a non-touch device, because I’ve tried it on Apple TV 4 to talk about it and I could not regain access to the settings, which forced me to uninstall and reinstall.
As you can see from the pictures, Estuary is much more attractive than Confluence. To be honest, if we have long been using a theme, of course we will have to get used to the new, but I think it will be worth a lot. With this new image, Kodi will have an interface designed to more a desktop system to have something that will fit on any device, be it desktop, mobile, Smart TV or set-top box.
But the new features included in this new Kodi 17 for Apple TV 4 are not just image. As always, bug fixes and performance improvements is also added, the latter being the most noticeable. Now gives the feeling that works like any other application that had been accepted into the App Store TVOS, not like before we always had in mind that we had installed on our own unofficially.
