The MacID app version for the Apple Watch debuted in the App Store, designed to unlock Mac using the iPhone fingerprint sensor and now allows you to lock and unlock your Mac screen from your wrist
The application was in fact recently upgraded to support this further possibility: you simply activate the mode for quick access to this feature (or you simply open the companion app on Apple Watch) and unlock the computer by clicking on the associated button .
From the wrist with the same app you can also start the screensaver or control music playback of iTunes and Spotify. Among the news we report also adding support for VoiceOver, in addition to launching a Widget for iOS that allows you to perform the same features integrated on Apple Watch, directly from the iPad and iPhone Notification Center. To use MacID, it is important to have iOS devices and Macs with Bluetooth LE low-power, then from the iPhone 5 onwards. Macs are compatible MacBook Air and Mac mini from 2011, MacBook Pro and iMac 2012 and Mac Pro of 2013 or later models.
MacID is $3.99 in the App Store as an universal version for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch
