According to a new rumor, the mass production of new upcoming Apple smartphones might be delayed and will resume in late August.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, mass production of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus would be delayed by a few weeks to allow the production of iPhone models currently on the market to slow. Because of this delay then, it seems that the mass production of the new models of iPhone will start in late August.
There is also talk of how it should be managed the production of the new iPhone from Foxconn and Pegatron. Foxconn should assemble 60% of iPhone models 6s and 100% of iPhone models 6s Plus Pegatron while the remaining models of the iPhone 6.
Despite the delay, the analyst still expects both models ready in September as planned. Obviously it would not be too surprising to see limited supplies of some models of the iPhone at launch. We’ll see how it will be handled the availability of the iPhone during the launch phase.
