The new Apple TV will mount an A10 Fusion chip with three cores – or A10X Fusion, if finally Apple decides to change its name – and a processing capacity slightly superior to the current iPhone 7. That is the data that Steve Troughton has confirmed thanks to the internal code of the new operating systems of Apple.
The developer also ensures that this new model will be able to output video in 4K resolution at 60 FPS, a virtue that would add to the HDR content that other sources have already revealed in recent weeks.
The presentation of this new model of Apple TV was advanced by Bloomberg, who also reported on the new iPhone portfolio and the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE connectivity. All these products would be unveiled tomorrow at the special event that Apple has organized on its new campus.
