The major updates always tend to bring a series of errors or bugs that they soon settled through rapid minor updates. Android 5.0 Lollipop was not going to be less and just met a new version is available and found, specifically Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.
Currently only Google Nexus tablets in July 2013, Google Nexus 9 and Google Nexus 10 which have available the new version, but presumably the other end of the Nexus range as well as other terminals and updated Lollipop, receive it sooner than later.
Small corrections and improved battery
It seems to be only a minor update that fixes a few bugs as suffering the Nexus 7 with video, and errors as related to the number of touches on the lock screen. There are also users who say they have noticed that the autonomy of Android Wear devices has experienced a significant increase, but this is something that Andro4all We could not yet see. Will have to see if Motorola Moto 360, LG and Samsung G Watch R Gear Live actually improve their consumption.
Changes have already been included in the repository Android Open Source Project to build android-5.0.1_r1 and most likely the update via OTA not long in coming. But for the most impatient, factory images of this new Android 5.0.1 Lollipop (LRX22C) are available, so you already updated manually.
As for terminals that have not yet received Android 5.0 Lollipop, presumably to be updated directly to this new version, would explain the delay of the update announced for Motorola Moto G or LG G3.
