Nokia has expressed its support for Apple’s lawsuit against Samsung. The Finnish manufacturer is just like the iPhone maker that the requirements for a marketing too high.
This is evident from a letter that Nokia has filed. The letter itself is sealed and the contents thus unknown, but in a separate motion ( pdf) that is submitted is something clear about the position of Nokia.
Thus, the company that a ruling by Judge Lucy Koh in the U.S. case between Apple and Samsung goes too far. “The ruling raises the bar for obtaining a marketing so high that it is difficult and perhaps never be achieved,” said Nokia.
In December, judge Koh ruled out that Samsung did not infringe Apple patents willfully. Consistent with the court docket, Apple has no longer conclusively confirmed that buyers purchase the merchandise for the reason that elements that infringe patents.
Apple takes this requirement is simply too excessive and can now enhance from Nokia. The Finnish producer states that the necessity for a ‘causal hyperlink’ to point out ‘critical injury’ could lead to to the U.S. patent safety.
