IPhone 4S Jailbreak replace
After getting an iPhone 4S this weekend for trying out the jailnreak untethered, Pod2G just announced on his blog that, he is having issues jailbreaking the iPhone 4S .We had already expressed at the end of last week will focus now on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 . While there were no problems for older aircraft, the task is complicated by the phone for the latest generation.
"The [jailbreak] untethered just failed at the moment because there are problems related to the processor cache" says French hacker. "I'm pretty but I can not determine what happens. This must surely be related to cache management for multicore. "
He concludes that it may be a solution. All this is only a matter of luck. We will report its findings tomorrow, always on his blog.
From pod2g’s blog:
Here are the news of the 4S week-end.
The untether fails right now because I’m having processor cache issues.
I’m close, but I can’t figure out what happens. It certainly has something to do with the multicore cache management.
I could sort it out quick, it’s a matter of chance.
Although it was confirmed that the untethered jailbreak was almost completed on the iPod touch 3G, iPhone 4, 3GS and the original iPad running iOS 5.0.1. Hopefully, what remains is packing the code to be released.
