Samsung has unveiled at CES 2016 in Las Vegas a laptop 2 in 1 (tablet accessory keyboard) whose name is Galaxy S. With Intel Core TabPro M processor and LTE connection, it seems the South Korean company response teams like iPad Pro Apple and Microsoft Surface Pro, being halfway between the concept of both.

After disappearing in many markets in the range of computers, Samsung seems to be willing to re-load. The Galaxy S TabPro mission statement sounds as will be marketed worldwide.

The Samsung Galaxy S TabPro features Intel Core M processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage (although this second configuration does not appear in the press release of Samsung Spain, so you may just come to our territory the first) and Windows 10 Home / Pro operating system. As for your screen is 12 inches with a 2160×1440 resolution Super AMOLED. It also has a 5MP camera and a rear fronal AF 5MP also.

With Windows 10 operating system, this team 2 in 1 remember (much) to Microsoft Surface Pro, the reference in that most look for when creating portable computers with Windows 10, in design. However, regarding specifications for its commitment to mobility and the processor Core M, it seems that most states ‘tablets’ ‘premium’ as the iPad Pro. The Samsung LTE TabPro S has Cat.6 (plus Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac MIMO Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and GLONASS).

The Galaxy TabPro S has a thickness of 6.3 mm and a weight of 693 grams. It has a cover – keypad, included in the box with the device, the hinge provides two positions. As is the case with the Surface Pro, the keyboard is connected by a pin and eliminates the need to match or charged separately. The keyboard has a touchpad -similar to a PC-.

Siguendo with similarities to the Surface Pro or iPad Pro, the TabPro S has an optional ‘stylus’ (although we must grant that Samsung was the first to bet strongly on this technology with its range Note). Also you can purchase a separate multi-port adapter (HDMI and USB type A and C).

The 5700 mAh battery TabPro Galaxy S, according to Samsung, can be fully charged in 2 hours and lets you enjoy the team to 10 hours of use.

“TabPro Samsung Galaxy S brings the best of Samsung Galaxy tablets with features Windows 10 Operating System, to create the most advanced 2 in one market,” said President and Head of Mobile Communication Division in Samsung Electronics, Dongjin Ko. “We are excited to work with Microsoft to offer a 2 on 1 allows users to enjoy the power and productivity of a PC, in addition to being connected at any time and in any environment.”

TabPro Galaxy S will be available worldwide from February 2016. Samsung has not yet announced recommended retail price.
