Tapbots, known from the Twitter application Tweetbot, has released a new app that was aimed at people who use App.net. App.net is an alternative to Twitter, where people do not pay their profile information but with real money. A few days ago, App.net have known that the subscription has been reduced in price from $50 to $36. iPhone apps were also already widely. So recently came Felix Felix and Snapp for App.net available. Finally there is now a well-known developer, who is also an app for App.net releases: Tapbots released today Netbot out.
Netbot is based on the principle of Tweetbot, but adapted for the users of App.net. In App.net everything as easy as possible for developers. While Twitter more external developers outside trying to reach with clauses and user quota, retrieves App.net developers with open arms. For the users it’s nice to know that now Tapbots a suitable app has made. The aforementioned apps Felix and Snapp cost respectively $4.99 and $3.99 and then you just wait and see what you get. The large group Tweetbot fans know that they Netbot in one app purchase just good and regularly maintained. For Tapbots it is also an interesting growth market: the market for Twitter apps is already quite saturated and App.net there is still growth to be realized.
Because App.net broadly the same functions as Twitter (256 characters but with a little more space to express yourself) is functionally not much news to be found. The app has Smart Gestures for quick actions to do. You can change your timeline sync between iPhone and iPad via iCloud and you can customize the navigation. There is also support for external services such as Pocket, Instapaper, Readability, CloudApp and Droplr.
