The iPhone 5 To Have a Slightly Higher Battery Capacity

Photographs surfaced on-line of what consider to be the  iPhone battery 5. It shows the change of power – 3.7V/1430mAh/5.3Whr in the iPhone 4S, 3.8V/1440mAh/5.45Whr against the iPhone 5. Plus, the battery has become thinner and higher, similar to the iPhone 5, which also became taller and thinner.

However, to work in LTE, will require more power than 3G, so this is negligible increase in power may not be enough time for decent work in 4G.

The potential iPhone 5 has capacity of 1440 mAh battery as oppose to  the iPhone 4S on 1430 mAh. In addition, the Watt per hour is higher than that of the iPhone 4S, namely from 5.25 to 5.45 WHr WHR. The battery is not thicker, what with the new iPhone was the case for the Retina screen with enough energy.

While Apple has increased or tweaked the iPhone battery year-after-year, this new iPhone’s battery has long been deemed significant due to the rumors of LTE network connectivity. LTE, infamously, requires bigger batteries because of the power that the faster network takes. However, it seems like the jump in battery capacity from the previous iPhones to this new iPhone is not all that huge.

Well, it strengthens the possibility that Apple will introduce LTE. A better battery is needed to take advantage of 4G LTE, but also for the larger screen. The possible 4 “screen would be a resolution of 640 x 1163. The iPhone 5 is rumored to be announced on September 12.
