With a completely revised design since today awaiting the popular Twitter client Tweetbot for OS X Yosemite on the Mac App Store. For existing users, the update is free, users benefit from the new lowered price.
The new version of Tweetbot was announced several months ago and is now finally available with a customized OS X at Yosemite design. As usual sets Tweetbot 2.0 * default on the single-column design. However, by clicking on an icon in the app allows you to add additional columns and makes the app so to Tweetdeck alternative.
The surface is much flatter and simpler than the previous version. Available in Twitter for some time embedded tweets are not in the current Mac version available, but will follow in version 2.1.
The first brief look at the new version is quite promising and encouraging. In many places the surface was polished. The gray of the previous version has been replaced by wide-area white. The icons are now flat and drawn with simple lines. Are there any new messages in a category, reference is made to this with a blue dot.
By default, the classic timeline is displayed in the main list. However, Control-click on the status bar at the top allows you to select from Twitter lists that are to be displayed in the main window.
In the profile view a contact not directly the tweets now appear, but instead represented both links to different profile functions as well as the most recently published photos.
