There is a video that appeared on YouTube that shows how Passbook will work in real life. The video shows how a customer searches for coupons in the vicinity and how they are added into the app. The customer puts two coupons in his passbook , one of which he surrenders to a shopkeeper.

The new passport book app is the easiest way to get all the cards, likebaseball tickets or boarding passes to have in one place. With passbook, you can scan your iPhone or iPod touch to use a coupon to go to a concert or check into a hotel. Depending on the time and place passbookautomatically displays the cards on the lock screen, so when one entershis favorite cafe seems the membership card and you can scan it to makea cup of coffee to buy or to check his account. Passbook po

The idea behind PassBook, a new app in iOS 6, is that all your airline tickets, coupons and memberships in one place. You can see the app as a digital wallet on your iPhone. To check in with a ticket or to use as discount code thatlet scan the QR code of your ticket or coupon. The coupon will be temporarily stored in the passportbook and pay later when submitted. Moreover, it is shown briefly, such as coupons and specials like can be generated. Another video aboutPassbook appeared some weeks ago.
