The new 2018 iPhone is expected to be introduced in September as usual and rumors about what Apple could feature on the new models still floating around.
Today, TrendForce agrees on the likely presentation of three new models different not only for the diagonal display but also for the display technology, with two of the three models equipped of OLED display and a cheaper model equipped instead of LCD display.
As already predicted by the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo a few weeks ago it seems that one of the probable hallmarks of the OLED models will be support for Apple Pencil, in addition to a new memory cut that will reach 512GB of total space. TrendForce tries to make a difference even on the final price of the new devices that, as regards the LCD model, could be offered at a price between $699 and $749, to then go up to 899-949 dollars of the 5.8-inch OLED model and $999 for the Plus model.
All new models (including the cheapest LCD model) will also be equipped with FaceID unlocking technology and the amount of RAM memory supplied should start from 3GB for the LCD model up to 4GB of OLED models, with minimal storage cut 64GB up to 256GB for the LCD model and the aforementioned 512GB for OLED models.
So much for the new iPhone but as always the final word will be up to Apple during the presentation event to be held in September.
